Typically traditional stucco is made up of a mix between lime, sand, and water, while 'Modern Stucco' is made up of a mix between portland cement, sand, and water. Stucco Application - Applications for Stucco vary depending on substrate, locations, and desired effect. Stucco systems can be applied to sheathing substrates such as plywood, gypsum board, OSB or masonry substrates such as CMU, brick, AAC, or other concrete substrates.
